DOCUMENTATION
INTERNATIONAL PATENT (PCT) |
Necessary
Documents:
a. Authorization signed by the patent owner and the inventors. Name,
address, nationality and tax identification number of the applicant
(legal or natural person). In the case of legal persons, it is
necessary to indicate the name and position of the signatory. (In case
of a natural person, the name should be the same that appears on the
National Identity Card; for legal persons, the name must reflect the
particulars recorded in the Commercial Register).
b. Declaration of inventorship including name, address and nationality
of the inventor/s, as well as indication of the working relationship
between the inventors and the applicant company or entity (for
instance: employment contract, private contract, etc.). This document
is to be signed by all the inventors.
Technical Documents:
a. A short but sufficiently detailed description that permits to
understand the essence of the invention and the way it works. This
description must identify the main technical characteristics being new
with regard to what is already known, also clearly indicating the
advantages or improvements provided by these characteristics. (We
recommend our clients to contact our patent technicians in order to
have a comprehensive assessment on the most adequate strategy according
to their interests). |
